Wins for the Region
In January 2022, environmental groups across the province breathed a collective sigh of relief when the company Medicom decided to forgo building its factory for surgical mask filters on the site of the “Champ des monarches”, a federal land located north of the Montreal-Trudeau airport. This marked an important victory in protecting critical habitat for the butterfly and broader ecosystem.
