Energy Security Timely Topic For Conference


In the wake of devastating blackouts in major cities last week, a conference hosted by the Sierra Club of Canada (SCC) this weekend (August 22-24) expects to draw increased attention for its focus on energy.

The Atlantic Canada Chapter of SCC is holding an Assembly in Sackville, N.B. titled "Positive Energy for a Positive Future", with speakers and workshops on Energy Policy, Wind Turbines and Community Energy Projects, Energy and Education, and Energy in Agriculture.
